Our vision at “the Center” is solely to awaken a people to seek the one, true God. “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 (NASB)
The Christian Center started in a trailer in Madisonville, Tennessee with five people around 1998. Pastor Bill was asked to lead the Bible study every Tuesday. The study group soon grew to about 15 members.
From there, “the Center” relocated to a small building where the Monroe County Christian Academy was actually based, and stayed there until 2002 when both the school and church moved to Tellico Plains.
The ministry grew at a supernatural rate from there. Established in the center of a horse farm, nonethelss, God was doing miracles, setting people free with healings and great manifestations of the Spirit.
God moved us to our new home in April 2011 by a great miracle (the picture you see above). Monroe County Christian Center is now loacted at a wonderful place on the Tellico River. We give Him the praise as He continues to do mighty things for His people!
